About Us

SynthesisNetwork is an evolving association of “like-minded” organisations that deliver board and director development and use a programme of courses to complement other activities such as coaching, counselling and consultancy at board level.

The SynthesisNetwork programme of courses is aimed at delivering solutions to the opportunities and problems that working directors face every day – but the programme must be more than mere training. So, although it’s rarely allowed to show, courses are soundly underpinned by the latest academic research and thinking taken from the management sciences.

The programme of courses is delivered at open venues in the UK by SynthesisUK licensees. In Europe, SynthesisNetwork courses are available in iterations that incorporate differing legal jurisdictions and can be delivered in other major languages than English by SynthesisEU licensees. SynthesisEM licensees deliver programmes that meet the specific needs of emerging markets throughout Africa, the Middle East, Malaysia and from autumn 2013 in India. Programmes will be available in the United States in 2014 through SynthesisUS licensees.

Courses are structured for practical and pragmatic delivery and the concepts and ideas presented are immediately relevant and useful for busy delegates. They can also be tailored to meet the needs of individual boards and organisations. Programme tutors are always active directors with current practical experience and qualified at least at post graduate level. Delegates don’t just learn what to do but also gain knowledge of why and when it works.
